This work-of-art has been quietly sitting on a back room shelf for some 60 years undisturbed and forgotten about. It was only until recently did the family that inherited her become aware of it's historical essence and one of a kind status in the art world.
This story unfolds in Seattle Washington USA in the mid 1940's. An Copenhagen ship rigger known as Nick Magi was hired to work on the Kobenhavn ship and was reported to be one of the last to leave her before she and her crew of 60 including 45 cadets sailed their last voyage.
